Creative AI Makerspace — Historical Track Audit
Project operations source: Creative AI Makerspace — Historical Track Audit.
This is historical evidence, preserved on 2026-09-09 from source checkpoint 916a118. The matching Astro checkpoint is a978c94. The original inventory below is a planning record, not current curriculum readiness or a commitment to build every idea.
The current Track Guide and shared Track Map carry the current composition: creative play at the center, Make Something Weird as the signature module, optional making branches, and developing learning/family directions.
Next Artifact Pass — Evidence and Unresolved Questions
- Make Something Weird remains Sketch / Planned. Its described first activity requires making with AI, at least two revisions, and a short revision note, but it lacks a matching introductory Lab package and standalone Notebook. The Track pass records that gap without creating either artifact.
- Build a Tiny Virtual Museum remains Alpha and primary to Make Something Weird. It requires Blender and does not require AI. It fits an optional builder branch, not the low-friction first-play experience.
- From Inspiration to Invention remains Beta and primary to Creative Latitude, with Make Something Weird as a related module. Its paper-only route is valid, and its artifact step is optional. Do not transfer ownership or treat it as a complete AI-making signature activity. Creative Latitude’s module prose still calls the lab Draft; correct that in a separately approved module pass.
- Family Learning Lab and AI for Learning: Tutor, Quizmaker, Simulator remain Seed / Planned. Module to Interactive Single-Page Application remains Beta and primary to the AI-for-learning module; its static context-practice prototype does not establish an AI-as-instructor or simulation curriculum.
- Prompting is Make Something Weird’s stated dependency. Before You Paste, Reality Check, and Relationships with Conversational AI are Track support candidates without a reciprocal Makerspace relationship in their module metadata. Prompting also has no reciprocal Makerspace Track assignment. This pass preserves those records; review handoffs and relationships in the later artifact pass.
- Becoming an Informed Technology Consumer remains primary to AI Readiness and related to Makerspace. Conversational Privacy remains primary to AI Literacy and related to Makerspace.
- Rights, privacy, accessibility, family participation, publication choices, and learner timing still need appropriate human review and pilot evidence. Facilitator demonstrations remain Coming Soon.
- The old format and project ideas below need selection before further module or lab authoring. A name in this inventory is not evidence of an existing source page.
Original Track Guide Snapshot
Creative AI Makerspace — Original Outline
Status: Working track outline, not finished curriculum.
This track helps learners build confidence by making things. It uses images, stories, games, posters, slides, audio sketches, simple apps, and playful experiments to make AI feel usable instead of abstract.
The invitation is broad. A learner does not need to identify as technical or artistic to participate. Making something small, weird, useful, or personal can teach prompting, revision, constraints, taste, verification, and ownership faster than a lecture.
Audience: Beginners, families, community learners, students, creators, and mixed-experience groups.
Purpose: Build confidence through guided creation while reinforcing safety, judgment, and revision.
