Student guide: The Trust Drift Challenge
Labs reference: Student guide: The Trust Drift Challenge.
- Open the fictional Email Lasagna packet. Do not substitute a real workplace thread.
- Before discussing it, circle statements that sound like decisions and flag information whose author, date, or status is unclear.
- Sort each claim in the Lab Notebook: current authority, historical context, draft, quote, illustration, joke, or unknown.
- For one uncertain claim, write the smallest question that would reveal the source of truth.
- If a facilitator offers an AI summary, compare it with your labels. Mark any assumption the summary makes on weak evidence.
- Record one small structure improvement and download your notebook before leaving.
Recovery tips
If your team cannot decide, use unknown and write what evidence is missing. If a claim looks official because it is formatted confidently, return to the author, date, role, and record. If a discussion moves toward private workplace history, return to the fictional packet.
