Reduce the Precision — Lab history & changelog
Origin story
This lab was created around a focused learner practice: Practice the principle of using the least precise information that still supports a task. Precision is not always wrong; it should earn its place. Learners change identifying details into useful categories, approximations, or fictional equivalents while preserving the goal of the request. Its original Draft package brought the activity and supporting materials together for review before the canonical lab-page migration.
Change log
2026-09-06
Bound the Lab Notebook to the canonical Activity’s completion and extension criteria, standardized result criteria as checklists, and synchronized the Notebook from that source.
Marked the Gallery Coming soon because it does not yet contain a linked example with an explicit provenance statement.
Moved learner-facing metadata, materials, relationships, and activity content into lab.md; retained this README as the lab origin story and change log.
