Learner Guide: One Task, Three Conversations
Labs reference: Learner Guide: One Task, Three Conversations.
This guide is a compact companion to the complete Activity.
- Choose a fictional or ordinary low-risk task—or use the supplied game-night scenario.
- Write what you are trying to accomplish and what information you will not share.
- Ask naturally. Keep the first request and response without repairing them.
- Mark what the response handled usefully, assumed, invented, or left vague.
- Make a clearer request for the same task using the goal, relevant context, desired output, and one boundary.
- Compare the new response with round one. Name the detail or boundary that mattered most.
- Stay in the clearer conversation and ask one focused follow-up based on something you noticed.
- Record what still needs human review or outside verification and one suggestion you kept, rejected, or changed.
Use the local Lab Notebook or worksheet to retain the comparison. Nothing entered in the notebook is saved or sent automatically.
You may work with a partner, observe a demonstration, or mark a supplied transcript. If a task becomes private, uncomfortable, or consequential, stop and switch to the fictional scenario.
