Review one conversational AI use and choose a practical maintenance action.
What you will make
A maintenance decision for one conversational AI use.
Choose One Use
Choose one low-risk task for which you use, or might use, a conversational AI system. You may use a fictional or facilitator-provided example.
Review
- What evidence supports relying on the system for this task?
- What would an error cost?
- What do you verify, and through which source or person?
- What information should remain outside the conversation?
- What do current official settings or documentation say about memory, retention, and access?
- Has the system’s behavior, ownership, terms, or feature set changed?
- What would you do if the system or conversation became unavailable?
- What backup, alternative, or human checkpoint exists?
- Who remains responsible for what happens next?
Output
Identify one maintenance action:
- Review current settings or official documentation.
- Remove unnecessary personal information from the task.
- Export an appropriate record.
- Add a backup or alternative.
- Verify an important output.
- Narrow the system’s role.
- Add a qualified person or approved process.
- Document who remains responsible.
Do not treat remembered product behavior as current fact. Record uncertainty when current documentation is unavailable or unclear.
