Facilitator guide: Contradictions in Context

Use 40 minutes: prediction (5), five short runs (12), diagnosis (10), repair (8), debrief (5). Make clear that the lab is not a contest to trap a tool; it is practice for noticing weak input before consequential use.
Productive failure: a polished event notice that selects Thursday although Tuesday appeared earlier. Ask, “Where did this date come from?” “Was the conflict surfaced?” Do not invite learners to test harmful or personally sensitive instructions. Provide prewritten prompts, an accessible text table, and a role for non-tool users as contradiction spotters.
Provisional timing for facilitator planning
These inherited estimates are starting points for facilitation, not completion targets for learners. Refine them after observing setup, access needs, discussion, and actual participation.
- Lab: 30–45 minutes (short: 20; extended: 75)
