Internal-First Article Pairing
How Learning Lab articles move from internal source to a reviewed public adaptation.
The Learning Lab will normally begin substantial articles as internal-facing source documents. A public-facing article may follow when there is a real reader need and the content is ready for external review.
Roles
- Internal source: establishes strategy, operations, maturity, evidence, open questions, and the team’s working language.
- Public adaptation: explains the relevant learner-facing idea in public-safe language. It is a deliberate rewrite, not an automatic publication or a lightly redacted copy.
Intranet Pair
Keep both documents visible on the internal intranet and link them to each other. The public counterpart must state its audience and availability clearly. A placeholder is acceptable while the public article has not yet been drafted.
Before External Release
Confirm that the public adaptation has appropriate approval, current claims and links, accessibility review, privacy review, and an honest statement of what is available now. Publishing outside the intranet remains a separate decision.
