Radar Chart

Use Mermaid radar-beta to compare multiple options across the same set of dimensions.

Basic template

radar-beta
    axis Speed, Reliability, Cost
    curve Current: 8, 6, 4

Core syntax

• Start with radar-beta
• Define dimensions with axis
• Add one or more series with curve Label: values
• Keep every curve aligned to the same axis order

Common example

radar-beta
    axis Performance, Maintainability, Cost, Flexibility, Simplicity
    curve Option A: 8, 7, 5, 6, 7
    curve Option B: 6, 9, 7, 8, 5

Good for

• Comparing architectures
• Scoring candidate tools
• Showing tradeoffs across dimensions

Watch for

• This is newer Mermaid syntax
• Radar charts are good for shape comparison, not exact numeric reading
